Gaming pays off as Goama secures investment in popular reality show, Shark Tank Colombia

COLOMBIA, 12 October  2021 Goama successfully pitched to Sony’s Shark Tank Colombia securing an investment of twice what it was seeking and maintaining the valuation.

To participate in the show and secure a Shark’s investment is a dream come true for the Goama team, and the funds will be used to further accelerate Goama’s growth in the region .

Nicolas Koifman, VP of Latin America and Fernando Cardona, Business Development Manager for Goama succeeded in pitching the company’s gamification solution during the 4th episode of Shark Tank Colombia’s 4th season. The episode aired on Friday October 8th at 10pm Colombia.(GMT-5)

Goama saldrá al aire en Shark Tank!

Como se anunció, Goama saldrá al aire en la serie de Sony, Shark Tank Colombia este Viernes 8 de Octubre de 2021. Shark Tank, el aclamado reality show ganador de varios premios Emmy, le dará la oportunidad a Goama de presentarse frente a un panel de ejecutivos e inversionistas de primer nivel para conseguir inversiones clave en la región.

Goama & GCash does good through gaming; gamifying the wildlife preservation movement of WWF-Philippines.

PHILIPPINES, 7th July 2021 – Philippines’s leading mobile wallet GCash, in collaboration with Goama, a gamification platform, launches a charity campaign to raise awareness and collect funds through competitive hyper-casual gaming for the wildlife preservation efforts of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Philippines.

GCash has been a strong ally in the wildlife preservation movement of the WWF-Philippines cementing their partnership with the launch of GForest in 2019.

bKash offers Sony PS5 prize for gaming tournament

500 players can also win mobile recharge of Tk25 to Tk100 every week

Any bKash user can win a Sony PlayStation 5 by becoming a top scorer in ‘Dribble Master’ and ‘Penalty Master’ of Goama Games Euro Cup in the bKash app. 

500 players can also win mobile recharge of Tk25 to Tk100 every week, said a press release.

To participate in Goama Games Euro Cup and win the top prize, customers need to score the highest in the weekly tournaments by playing the ‘Dribble Master’ and ‘Penalty Master’ games through the bKash app. 

To enter each tournament, players have to donate Tk2 to Bidyanondo Foundation. The tournament will run till July 8, 2021.

Customers can play ‘Dribble Master’ for two weeks from June 11 to 24, and ‘Penalty Master’ for another two weeks from June 25 to July 7.

If a player scores the highest among all the tournaments, they will be able to win a Sony PS5.  

In addition, the top 500 scorers in each tournament can win a mobile recharge bonus every week. The first 250 players will get Tk100 each, and Tk50 and Tk25 each for the next 150 and 100 players respectively.

Customers can play the game directly from the ‘Games’ section of the bKash app, or through the ‘Goama Games’ option in the game menu. Participants in the tournament will be given Unlimited Life. Players who can remain at top of the ranking are more likely to win prizes.
