Job brief

‘Goama|Games – the Netflix of Games’ is looking for some great experienced Javascript developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing those following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

Responsibilities includes but not limited to

● Developing new user-facing features using React.js
● Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
● Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
● Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
● Profile and improve our front-end performance
● Write, audit, and improve our test coverage

Requirements

● Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
● Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
● Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
● Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript.
● Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
● Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc
● Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.● A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
● Proficiency with browser-based debugging and performance testing.
● Experience with a testing framework (Jest/Mocha).
● Experience using Git, SVN and Mercurial.
● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
● B.Sc Engineering in computer science, or related subject from a reputed university.
● Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.

Experience

● Minimum 3 to 4 years working experience.

Operating in 7 countries, Goama|Games provide a unique opportunity to work on challenging products & services in a dynamic and multi-cultural team.

As a python developer, you will be working on Django framework to build and/or modify robust, scalable and high performing microservices. To be successful in this role, you must have experience with server-side development, various payment and messaging API integration experience. You must be able to work in a team.

Responsibilities includes but not limited to

● Write effective, scalable code.
● Follow best development practices like code review, automated testing, CD/CI.
● Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance.
● Integrate user-facing elements into applications.
● Test and debug programs.
● Implement components in a micro-service architecture.
● Assess and prioritize feature requests.
● Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.

Requirements

● Work experience as a Python Developer.
● Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask or pyramid).
● Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM).
● Familiarity with front-end technologies (like JavaScript and HTML5).
● Team spirit.
● Good problem-solving skills.
● B.Sc in Computer science, or related subject from a reputed university.

Experience

● 4 to 8 years working experience.
